System Installation & Replacement

A mechanical system is one of the biggest and longest-lived investments in a home, and installing it right the first time pays off for decades. We design and install complete systems — heating, cooling, hydronics, ventilation and controls — as a coordinated whole, so the pieces work together instead of fighting each other.

Replacing an aging system is an opportunity, not just a repair. Rather than swapping in the same equipment at the same size, we take the chance to right-size the system, improve efficiency, fix airflow or zoning problems that never worked, and set up modern controls. Done thoughtfully, a replacement leaves the home more comfortable and less expensive to run than it was before.

Design comes first. We run Manual J, S and D load, equipment and duct calculations so the system is matched to the home — correct capacity, correct airflow, correct controls. At altitude, we tune combustion and select equipment for the elevation, because a system sized for the valley will not perform the same up here.

Workmanship is what you live with afterward. We take pride in clean, labeled, serviceable mechanical rooms — neat piping, accessible components, and clear labeling — so the system is easy to understand and maintain for years to come, whether we service it or someone else does.
